Andreea Bancu, born in 1990, in Romania, started her artistic path in school at a young age. She began her education at Ionel Perlea Art School, Slobozia, where her interest in arts started to develop.

In 2009 she applied and studied for 6 years at Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest and she graduated in 2015 form the Faculty of Architecture.

In 2018 she became a certified architect with signature right, certification granted by the Romanian Order of Architects, Bucharest.

Driven by curiosity and passion for creation, she also experienced, for a short period of time, the field of graphic design, but her interest in arts never stopped, it kept growing.

Because she became interested in realism, in 2024 she applied at The Florence Academy of Art, in Florence, Italy, and joined a Still Life painting workshop, where a love for the genre emerged.

Currently, Andreea continues to study the classical realist methods and works from her studio in Bucharest, Romania. She enjoys painting from life and observation, and telling stories through her compositions, finding inspiration and beauty in everyday objects and scenery.
